Laya Karunakaran

Laya Karunakaran is a student of Hastaswara School of Dance, and has been learning dance for over 11 years under Smt. Sangeetha Agarwal. Laya has performed at many events over the years, and she even started helping with the younger students. This is where her love of dance really grew and it helped her to improve as a dancer.

Dance has been a constant in her life, and she does not know where she would be without it. It has taught her valuable life lessons throughout the years about dedication, perseverance and more. She is forever grateful to Sangeetha aunty for all these years of lessons, and her parents for making it possible.

Laya is currently a junior at Thomas Edison High School where she participates in many clubs and activities, and she looks forward to the future which she hopes will always include dance.
