Anika Senan

Anika has been a student of Hastaswara learning Bharatanatyam for 8 years under Smt. Sangeetha Agarwal. Throughout the years, she not only learned the technical aspects of the dance form but also gained a deeper understanding of its cultural roots. She is proud to embrace and showcase the rich cultural heritage of India through her performances at many events including Durga Temple Holi Mela, Fundraiser at the Murugan temple, and several Hastwaswara annual dance showcases.

She is also a clarinetist, a varsity athlete, and a student leader attending Charles J. Colgan Senior High School in Manassas. She believes that Bharatanatyam has the power to transcend language and cultural barriers and is honored to be part of this thematic presentation as she hopes to continue sharing its beauty with audiences around the world.
